Phuket yacht with swimming pool is something many people wonder about, unsure whether it is real or just a marketing image. The truth is they do exist, though perhaps not quite in the way you might first imagine. Yacht Charter in Phuket on certain vessels comes with a special type of pool attached to the boat, allowing passengers to enjoy the water in a safe, contained space without jumping directly into the sea.
What Types of Swimming Pools Are Found on Phuket Yachts
Swimming pools on Phuket charter yachts come in two main forms.
Inflatable pools attached to the side of the boat — these are compact inflatable pools set up at the stern or alongside the vessel, filled with seawater or fresh water as needed. They are ideal for young children or guests who want to enjoy the water without being in the open sea. Many boats in Phuket include this as part of a full-day trip package.
Permanent pools on superyachts — some larger vessels at the superyacht level (a superyacht refers to a large luxury vessel exceeding 24 metres in length) feature a small permanent pool on the deck. These come at a significantly higher charter rate than standard yachts.
Why Yachts with Pools Are So Popular
A swimming pool on a yacht addresses several practical needs, especially for families with young children. Parents can let kids splash around in a safe, enclosed area without worrying about sea currents or jellyfish. It is also well-suited for guests who cannot swim but still want to enjoy the fun of being in the water.
For party groups, a pool on board adds a lively highlight to the day,
particularly when the boat is anchored at sea under warm sunshine.
Phuket Yachts with Pools and Water Toys
Beyond swimming pools, many boats in Phuket also come equipped with other water toys that provide equal or greater fun, such as a water slide (a chute that leads down into the sea or pool), floating mats, SUP boards (Stand-Up Paddleboards), kayaks, and snorkeling equipment.
Many Phuket charter boats include these items as part of a full-day package,
giving passengers a variety of activities to enjoy throughout the day.
How to Find a Phuket Yacht with a Swimming Pool
When looking to book a boat with a pool in Phuket, be specific from the outset and ask whether the vessel has a pool or inflatable pool, as not every boat offers this feature. Also clarify whether it is an inflatable pool attached to the side or a permanent structure, so your expectations match what is actually provided.
Some providers in Phuket offer large power catamarans with an inflatable pool and water slide included in a full-day trip,
which works particularly well for family groups or friends who want an active, fun-filled day on the water.
Expert Tips for Booking a Phuket Yacht with a Pool
Experts in organizing Phuket boat trips recommend asking clearly about the pool size and how many people it can accommodate at once, as some inflatable models are quite small and suitable only for children,
not adults.
Experts also recommend requesting actual photos of the pool and water toys before booking,
as promotional images can sometimes look more impressive than the real thing. It is also worth asking whether the pool is filled with seawater or fresh water, as preferences may vary.
Another tip, especially for groups with very young children,
is to confirm whether the boat has child safety equipment such as kids’ life jackets and safety netting around the edges of the vessel to prevent accidents.
Conclusion
Phuket yachts with swimming pools are real and available to book, though most are inflatable pools attached to the vessel rather than permanent structures.
They still offer plenty of fun and serve their purpose well for families with children, party groups,
and anyone who wants a unique on-board water activity beyond just swimming in the sea.
